The
view across the rooftops of Vrindavan from the outstanding Jayapurya
palace and temple. These were built by the Maharaja of Jaipur for his
personal use and for the benefit of the culture of Vrindavan. This was
the last great act of royal patronage in Vrindavan before the dismantling
of the princely states of India.
